Live Music

Live, original music provides a wonderful soundtrack to the Annual Craftsmen’s Fair experience. Here are some of the musicians performing at the 2018 Fair.
Our thanks to our 2018 Music Sponsors, Lincoln Financial and the Mount Washington Cog Railway.

High Range is an energetic roots based band with a long list of rave reviews from national publications. They highlight original music on guitars, mandolin, fiddle, upright bass and drums. Their songs have won the International Songwriting Competition, hit #1 on Music Choice, and been played on air worldwide.

Lula Wiles is a band deeply rooted in traditional folk music, but equally deep is their devotion to modern songcraft. They deliver love songs that are at once defiant and heartsick, as well as new contributions to the folk ballad canon and timely explorations of what it means to live in America today. Drawing from the deep wells of traditional old-time and bluegrass, classic country, and contemporary indie-folk-rock, Lula Wiles melds diverse influences to create a harmony-driven sound all their own.

Rockspring is a high energy string band that has quickly gained a strong following in the New England region. Combining original songwriting with eclectic cover choices, Rockspring puts on an incredibly entertaining live show that makes people dance out of their shoes. Bending bluegrass, rock and various other influences, Rockspring not only appeals to bluegrass fans, but also to pop, rock, alternative folk and country fans.

Gretchen and the Pickpockets have become known for their unique blend of genres and their energetic live shows. Fronted by vocalist Gretchen Klempa, Gretchen and the Pickpockets are a six piece soul/jazz rock band that features heavy horn lines and improvisation.
