Performing Artists

The Fair also features high-caliber musicians and performers of various styles, including original acoustic, string, folk, jazz, classical, Congolese rumba, and Caribbean steel drum music. All performances take place in the Performing Arts Tent and are included in the admission price to the Fair. The Fair is open daily, rain or shine, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm with performances at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm. The 2009 Performing Artists are listed below:


Saturday, August 1st	Carolyn Currie – This gifted singer-songwriter will have you mesmerized by her lyrics and amazing voice.
Sunday, August 2nd	Amy Gallatin & Stillwaters – Amy and her band have entertained audiences worldwide with a selection of country, folk, bluegrass and western swing.
Monday, August 3th	Gioia – Take a journey with Gioria as each song is accompanied by a self produced related video.
Tuesday, August 4th	The Radio Gang – This band picks and sings rousing renditions of vintage country (bluegrass) music from the 1930’s and 1940’s.
Wednesday, August 5th	Susie Burke & David Surette – This duo uniquely blend contemporary, traditional, and original folk & acoustic music with heartfelt vocals and fluid fret work.
Thursday, August 6th	Stasmusic – This acoustic rock entertainer will rock the house with his acoustic guitar, wide vocal range and harmonica style.
Friday, August 7th	Cormac McCarthy – This singer –songwriter and musician is captivating as he puts his heart & soul into his music and words. He keeps his audiences laughing during his performances.
Saturday, August 8th	Timbre Drummers – This unique and high energy performance sets feet and spirits dancing with music based on authentic African rhythms and songs.
Sunday, August 9th	Gerry Grimo and the East Bay Jazz Ensemble – This 10 piece band’s music features big band classics, swing, R&B, Pop, Oldies, Blues and Soul as well as classic vocal arrangements.
