Grants and Scholarships

The League awards close to $30,000 in scholarships and grants to individuals and organizations in support of craft education.

The League offers over $5,000 annually to individuals pursuing craft-related study through their general Craft Education Scholarship Fund and through the Vivika and Otto Heino Craft Education Scholarship Fund. Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis. Download the application form. Apply online.

Craft Education Program Enhancement Grants provide supplementary financial assistance (up to 50% of the total cost of the project) to locally raised funds for initiating, improving, or extending craft education programs.
