Juried Member: Karen Gola
Medium: Glass
Biography:
I have been working with glass for over 30 years. I started at the Silianoff Studios in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where we designed and created stained glass windows for religious and other institutions.
I then moved to Maine where I continued working with leaded and copper foiled glass, making lampshades and other decorative items which were sold through shops in Kennebunkport and Ogunquit.
In the early 1990's I was introduced to kiln fired glass, and have been developing my skills in this area ever since.
Currently my work can be found in Great Britain, France, Canada and across the United States.
Retail Galleries:
My work can be found in all seven League galleries.
