Become a Juried Member - Marketing Seminars & Networking

In addition to our craft education classes, demonstrations, workshops and lectures, we are thrilled to offer The Business of Craft seminar series. If you are looking for ways to increase your effectiveness and productivity, you won’t want to miss these opportunities.

Invest a day in learning some resourceful and "out of the box" ways to approach managing your time and energy from an Integral Coach™ who specializes in advancing the capacity of artists and creative entrepreneurs. Learn the secrets of generating creative states more consciously and within time frames. Get to know your relationship with time and how to work with it instead of against it. Come away with new methods for managing your energy so that you can make the very best use of your time.

This series is chock full of must-know information for craftspeople who sell their work in galleries. Examine the role and responsibilities of both the gallery and the seller, consider the strengths and weaknesses of oral agreements and written agreements, discuss the fiduciary duties of dealers, and enumerate the elements that you should consider when you enter into a consignment agreement.

Other topics will include, among others, QuickBooks, Facebook and Photoshop. New events are added to the schedule regularly. We urge you to check The Craft Center website frequently for up-to-date information.
