MaryLyn Yonika
Media: Clay

A lifelong resident of New England, my work reflects my love of home, family, and old New England villages tucked into landscapes of hills, water, and dancing white pine trees. My background is that of a graphic designer/illustrator working in the corporate world for years. In the mid-1990s I started working with clay and the first Stoneware Candle Houses were created. There are now over two dozen different designs in the line. All of them are classic New England structures from the 18th & 19th century, hand built out of stoneware clay and hand painted. No two houses are exactly alike and each style will be produced for a limited period of time.
