Soda Fired Functional Stoneware/Porcelain

Each firing is unpredictable! The kiln is the final artist. Soda ash introduced at the peak of the firing shows the air flow through the kiln as it streams past the pots. These pieces are unique, identifiable one from another, much like people and personalities. Pottery is an art form we handle, and it nurtures us.
