Hethre Larivee
Media: Glass

I'm a glass artist and I love teaching glass, both flameworking and furnace glass blowing. I have been a teaching assistant at the Corning Museum of Glass for Alex Hamilton, and I teach flameworking at Diablo Glass School in Boston, MA, for both public classes, as well as a credit-course for Boston University. I have been working with glass since I was 19 years old, beginning with stained glass, and shortly thereafter, learning the art and science of flameworking, furnace glass blowing, and coldworking.
I feel that glassblowing is much more than timing and movements; it's about a personal journey, life lessons, and an obsession with perfection.
