Ursula Fries-Herfort
Media: Clay

I started taking pottery classes at the LNHC ceramics studio in Hanover in 2001, advanced from a student to a teacher's assistant and started to show and sell my work locally after setting up my own studio in 2004. I was juried into the League in 2007. That year I began working at Kimball Union Academy as the ceramics teacher and studio head, a position I have held until today. My work has been shown in single person shows at KUA in 2007 and 2009, at the Biennial Ceramics Exhibition at the NHIA (juror Lucy Breslin) in 2008, as the featured artist at the League gallery in Hanover in Nov. 2008, the biennial shows of the NH potter's guild in 2009 and 2011 as well as various other group shows.
