Sarah Bohorquez
Media: Fiber

I learned to knit, sew, and embroider from my grandmother when I was young and have been involved in fiber arts ever since. I pursued an education in design, graduating in 1990 with a BFA in Textile Design from Rhode Island School of Design.

In 1999 I moved to New Hampshire and soon had a spinners flock of sheep (Shetland and Jacob). My farm is called Black Sheep Farm and I've sold my work primarily through the League of NH Craftsmen. My sheep now live at a nearby farm so I buy my fiber for spinning from farms in the New England area. I spin quality yarns using the finest alpaca, angora, and wool.

I am currently the NH rep for the New England Spinners and Dyers Association.
