I grew up a farm boy in Illinois. Served aboard the USS Boston then went back to school and was hired as an engineer. I found my calling in X-ray medical systems and spent 40 years in New England hospitals installing and servicing those systems. Building things is in my DNA so woodworking satisfies that itch now that I am retired. I particularly enjoy boxes because I can stretch the envelope. I am a member of Guild of N.H. Woodworkers as well as the League. My boxes are solid wood, environmentally friendly and built to be passed on to other generations. I will build specialty boxes. My hope is that "you find your box to be as important to you as what it contains".

Entitled “A Touching History Box” by it’s maker, William Taylor, this jewelry box is truly special. Made from a horse chestnut tree planted by General William Whipple in 1776 in Portsmouth New Hampshire. It also features Brazilian cherry, bird’s eye maple and wenge.
